Sew a Reading Cushion
Come and join us at The Stitchery during the school holidays to make yourself a reading cushion
In this class we will be making a reading cushion, which is a cushion with a front pocket for stashing books, treats, secret things you don’t want your siblings to find or even PJs if you wanted.
Choosing from a selection of fabric’s you get to decorate the cushion with an applique girl in which you can pick your own dress and headband fabric, and hairstyle. These are a super fun make, perfect for beginners who are wanting to try their hand at sewing.
This project is aimed at children 8yrs+ who have sewn before and feel confident in using a sewing machine - sorry this class is not for begineer sewers - please see Sew Bunting or Sew a Bunny class for beginner school holiday projects. More confident sewers are also most welcome to attend
COST: $65 per class - Class duration 4hr, price includes all fabric and notions required (including cushion inner)
