Class Details

COST: $175 - 4 weeks (7 hours) plus the cost of your fabric

SKILL LEVEL: Confident Beginners (you need to confident in using a sewing machine)

Want to have a go at making your own cozy Hoody?

In this class we will start by figuring out what size we want make, trace & cut out all our pieces and then start the hoody sewing journey and finish off with a one of a kind hoody just for you.

This project is aimed at children 8yrs+ who are confident beginner sewers.
Please Note: This project is sewn with stretch fabrics which if you havent sewn before can be challenging for some kids, hense you need to be a confident sewer.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

• How to cut out your project

• General construction with stretch fabrics

• Sewing a lined hood and kangaroo pockets

• Adding cuffs and hembands

WHATS INCLUDED:

• The hoody pattern to use

• Lining for the hood

• Use of sewing machines

• Use of tools & equipment

• Snacks and cold drinks to keep the energy levels up

YOU NEED TO PROVIDE:

• Fabric for your hoody (I will advise what you need closer to the time of the class)

• Matching Thread
