Class Details

COST: $120 per class - plus the cost of your fabric for each project. Class duration 5.5hr, run over three consecutive weeks, 3:45pm - 5:30pm

Here is another kids class for those who have completed the beginners class or have some sewing knowledge. Pyjama pants are perfect for lounging around the house, The elasticated waist and relaxed-fit leg make these PJs oh so comfy to wear.
The eyemask, is a great scrap buster, using the left over fabric from your PJ pants you can make a matching eyemask.

Project One:

PJ Pants

Lounge in style in your me-made pyjama bottoms or shorts. Jaimie is an ideal first sewing project for newbies, or a quick and satisfying make for existing stitch addicts.
Choose between full-length pyjama bottoms or shorts, with optional drawstring detail. The elasticated waist and relaxed-fit leg make these PJs oh so comfy to wear.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • How to take key body measurements to chose the right size for you

  • How to lay fabric & cut out your pattern correctly

  • How to sew seams & finish insides

  • Constructing elastic waistband

  • Inserting drawcord to waist

  • How to hem

  • How to sew curves

  • Making an elasticated tunnel

Project Two:

Eyemask

Make your own lovely eye mask using the scraps from your PJ fabric.
They have an elasticated channel around the back to hold them on.
Ooh and they makes a great gift!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • How to lay fabric & cut out your pattern correctly

  • How to sew curved seams & bag out

  • Constructing the elasticated tunnel
