Applique Cushion Class

COST: $45 per class - Class duration 2.5hr, price includes fabric and notions required for class

SKILL LEVEL: Complete beginner

Come and join us at The Stitchery during the school holidays to make yourself a cushion cover with your choice of applique desgin to take home.

This class is perfect for complete beginners, we start by learning the basic’s of sewing on the sewing macine and then how to use the blanket stitch to applique.
We then move onto picking our design and applying it to our cushion cover and stitching it on, once we have completed this we then use our sewing skills to complete sewing the cushion cover.
This is a super fun project, perfect for beginners who are wanting to try their hand at sewing.

This project is aimed at children 8yrs+ who are beginner sewers and keen to give sewing a go. More confident sewers are also most welcome to attend.

Drawstring/ Tog Backpack Class

COST: $60 per class - Class duration 3hr, price includes fabric and notions required for class

SKILL LEVEL: Beginners upwards

CLASSES RUN:
Monday 2nd October 10-1pm

With summer just around the corner we are starting to think about all the fun summer activities we enjoy, like swimming and that reminds us we need a new tog bag this summer.
Come and join us at The Stitchery this school holidays and make yourself a Drawstring/ Tog Backpack.

In this class we will make ourselves a bright funky drawstring backpack with a water resistant lining for wet togs and towels.

This project is aimed at children 8yrs+ who are beginner sewers and keen to give sewing a go. More confident sewers are also most welcome to attend

Boxed Zippered Pouch

COST: $60 per class - Class duration 3hr, price includes fabric and notions required for class

SKILL LEVEL: Confident Sewers 10yrs+ (not suitable for beginner sewers)

CLASSES RUN:
Thursday 28th September 9-12pm
Wednesday 4th October 1-4pm

Come and join us at The Stitchery during the school holidays to make yourself a Boxed Zippered Pouch

In this class we are making ourselves a boxed pouch with a zip and woven tape handles.
This bag is fully lined and we use a bias tape to finish the edges.
So many great sewing skills to learn in this project.

You could use this pouch for all sorts of applications, pencilcase, make up pouch, toilet bag, carrying anything you want really?

This project is aimed at children 10yrs+ with some sewing experience. More confident sewers are also most welcome to attend
