Class Details

$200 - 4 weeks (7 hours) - This price includes all the materials you need for your doll & her new wardrobe

SKILL LEVEL:
This class is suited to intermediate sewers
PLEASE NOTE: This class is NOT for complete beginners, you must be an intermediate sewer to join this class, as we are sewing some very small fiddly bits.

Do you like the idea of sewing yourself a doll and then sewing her a wardrobe?
In this class we will start with sewing ourselves a doll, and then when she has been created we will make her a selection of clothes so she doesn’t have to leave the studio naked.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

• Cutting out all the doll pieces

• How to sew your doll

  • How to sew the head and attach the hair

  • Hand stitching her face

  • Sewing her legs and arms and attaching them to the body

  • Stuffing the body

  • Hand stithcing her closed

• Sewing clothes for the doll, three clothing patterns included, but kids can also design their own creations

WHATS INCLUDED:

• Use of patterns during the class

• Use of sewing machines

• Use of tools & equipment

• Snacks and drinks to keep the energy levels up
