$85 - 3 Hours (One Evening) - This price includes all the materials you need for the evening.

Are you scared of your overlocker?
Or maybe you have an overlocker that you really don’t feel confident in using or even threading into another colour, so everything is overlocked in white?
The secret in owning an overlocker is to not show any fear, so come along to my one off evening class and I can show you how to get the confidence you need to make friends with your overlocker … they realy aren’t that scary once you get to know them….

But seriously …. lets sit down and chat about overlockers, how they work, what is differential feed and why do we need it?
You will sew yourself samples to take home and hopefully go home at the end of the night feeling confident to use your overlocker.

This class is for a  Beginners Sewist to Advanced

What we will Learn

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

• Machine Threading (thats right I am going to cut your threads and make you re thread it… maybe twice.. possibly 3 times)

• Sewing around curves and corners

• Gathering

• Rolled Hems

• Attaching Elastic

• Attaching Ribbing

• Making Rouleau Straps

• Hemming

WHATS INCLUDED:

• Selection of fabrics for you to use to sew your examples on

• Use of studio tools & equipment (but see below as you need to bring your own overlocker tools)

• Snacks and drinks to keep the energy levels up

YOU NEED TO PROVIDE:

• Your Overlocker in good working condition (don’t forget the cord and foot pedal)

• User Manual for your overlocker (if you can’t find it you can probably download it from the internet)

• Your overlocker accessories (Tweezers, screw drivers, Allan Keys (if it needs one)

• Brand new Overlocker Needles

• Threads for your Overlocker
