Reading Cushion

COST: $65 per class - Class duration 3hr, price includes fabric and notions required for class

SKILL LEVEL: Complete Beginner to advanced sewers

Wednesday 23rd April, 1pm-4pm

Come and join us during the school holidays to make yourself a super cool reading cushion.
This reading cushion is the perfect project for beginner sewers, it has a pocket on the front for carrying your books and other goodies, two snaps to secure the pocket so things don’t fall out and a handle at the top to carry it around.
We will also attach a letter to the front pocket using an applique method.
You get to learn how to sew straight seams and finish edges, as well as topstitching and other sewing skills.

This project is aimed at children 8yrs+ who are beginner sewers and keen to give sewing a go.
More confident sewers are also most welcome to attend

Bedside Organiser

COST: $70 per class - Class duration 3hr, price includes fabric and notions required for class

SKILL LEVEL: Confident Beginners (you need to be confident in using a sewing machine for this class)

CLASSES RUN:
Wednesday 16th April, 1pm - 4pm
Thursday 24th April, 1pm - 4pm

Sick of messy bedside tables?
Then a bedside organiser is a must have, it attaches to your bed using a non slip mat between the mattress and base of your bed.
It has five pockets of different sizes for storing all your goodies, and all edges are bound in a brightly coloured fabric.

This project is aimed at children 8yrs+ who are confident beginner sewers (who are comfortable with using a sewing machine).
More confident sewers are also most welcome to attend.

Boxed Zipper Pouch

COST: $70 per class - Class duration 3hr, price includes fabric and notions required for class

SKILL LEVEL: Confident Sewers 10yrs+ (not suitable for beginner sewers)

CLASSES RUN:
Thursday 17th April, 9-12pm

Come and join us during the school holidays to make yourself a Boxed Zippered Pouch

In this class we are making ourselves a boxed pouch with a zip and woven tape handles.
This bag is fully lined and we use a bias tape to finish the edges.
So many great sewing skills to learn in this project.

You could use this pouch for all sorts of applications, pencilcase, make up pouch, toilet bag, carrying anything you want really?

This project is aimed at children 10yrs+ with some sewing experience. More confident sewers are also most welcome to attend
